We are aware of the problems experienced by residents especially on the top floors of Sandown Crescent. The water pressure is restricted by the City of Cape Town. The reduced pressure is resulting in the water heaters installed not having sufficient pressure to turn on and supply hot water in the units.
The matter has been reported to the City on a few occasions and we await their final feedback. The trustees have also been investigating the installation of booster pumps for the complex. As this is a costly expense, we are unable to act on this immediately, but will present the cost and installation at the upcoming AGM at the end of September/October.
