Water pressure information from The city of Cape Town – June 2018

Taken from The City’s Facebook Page. Be sure to follow them on social media for the most up-to-date info:

Our pressure management programme is saving 62 million litres of water per day across the metro. It may sometimes cause inconvenience, and we thank all of our residents who continue to support the City’s drought management efforts by using as little water as possible.

By carefully regulating water pressure, this programme also reduces the risk of leaks and pipe bursts.

We aim to have normal water supply between 06:00 and 10:00. As always, we urge residents not to store excessive municipal water and to install booster pumps if a certain level of pressure is required.
